Brownie glow-up

Brompton House brownies are getting a glow-up with this delicious dessert. Make this quick recipe for your guests at home, to bring them a delicious chocolate dish!

Serves: 8

Brownie glow-up

Ingredients

For the custard:

4 cups whole milk

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon butter

4 eggs

½ cup white sugar

3 tablespoons cornstarch

For the brownie:

8 Brompton House Chocolate Brownies

For the topping:

Your favourite ice cream and pecan nuts

Method

Step 1


Place milk, vanilla extract, and butter in a saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until simmering, remove from heat before it comes to a boil.

Step 2


Whisk eggs, sugar, and cornstarch together in a bowl until sugar dissolves.

Step 3


Set the saucepan back over low heat. Pour in egg mixture slowly, whisking constantly, until custard thickens enough to coat the bottom of a spoon, usually around 5 to 10 minutes.

Step 4


Spoon the custard into bowls.

Step 5


Warm the brownies for 10 seconds in the microwave and place them into the centre of the custard.

Step 6


Spoon the ice cream on top and decorate with the pecan nuts.
