Caramelised apple delight

This warming apple delight is a perfect pudding for those cosy Autumn evenings. Sweet, warm and satisfying.

Caramelised apple delight

Ingredients

For the caramelised apples:

Knob of butter

Apples (chopped into wedges)

Maple syrup

For serving:

Vanilla ice cream

Method

Step 1


Melt the butter in a frying pan set over medium heat.

Step 2


Add the apple wedges and cook, stirring for about 5 minutes until the apples start to brown.

Step 3


Add the maple syrup and cook for a further 2-3 minutes until golden and the sauce is slightly syrupy.

Step 4


Place the apples and sauce onto a plate. Warm your deep filled apple puff in the microwave and add it on top of your plate.

Step 5


Top with vanilla ice cream and decorate with caramelised apple syrup.
